The R. A. Long High School Alumni Association began in 2002 with just a few people gathering to answer the question, "Wouldn't it be nice to form an alumni association to maintain contact among the generations of R. A. Long students and to benefit the school and current students in some way?" This small group researched, planned, and registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington. The Association is also a non-profit organization under the IRS 501(c)(3).
